Happy Halloween

Together with some friends before going out to trick or treat.















Lily loved Halloween this year, she practiced saying trick or treat for a couple of days beforehand and was fearless when going up to houses to collect her candy.
She said a couple of times "don't want to lose this bag Mommy, hold it tight!"




















While she never got scared by them, here's a little video of the boys scaring the hell out of the local trick or treaters.

Driving in to the Costco parking lot I realize that the store won't open for another 1/2 an hour.
Me: oh no the store's not open for another 1/2 hour
Lily: I want to get in a cart
Me: well we have to wait because the store isn't open yet
Lily: you can open it with your keys Mommy

Attitude

We pick up Jesse after work and are talking to her from the front seat.
Jesse asks her what she had for lunch and she says "a sandwich".
Me: no you didn't, what did you have?
Lily: I had a sandwich
Me: no you didn't have a sandwich, tell daddy what you had
Lily: seriously, I had a sandwich

She said

Me: Ok Lily it's time to go, have you finished your milk?
Lily: YES sir! Three bags full!

She said

Jesse: those are Daddy's sunglasses
Lily:(pulling the sunglasses off his face) I don't have glasses... just EYES
